David Rodríguez-Gómez assumes the coordination of the DIOE Area of the Department of Applied Pedagogy of the UAB.
The School Didactics and Organization Unit (DIOE) is responsible for organizing teaching in the areas of General Didactics, Educational Organization and Education for Diversity. The teaching staff of the unit teach in the degrees of Infant Education, Primary Education, Social Education and Pedagogy and in the various official Master's degrees (Psychopedagogy, Direction and Management of Educational Centers, Training of Secondary School Teachers, Research in Education) and punctually in other degrees and master's degrees from the Faculties of Law, Psychology and Letters.
Rodríguez-Gómez is an associate professor (with Advanced Research accreditation) in the Department of Applied Pedagogy at the UAB, a researcher at the Center for Research and Studies for the Organization's Development, recognized as a consolidated research group by the Generalitat de Catalunya, a consultant to the Master's in Psychopedagogy from the UOC and evaluator for the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation.
His lines of research are linked, among others, to the study of knowledge creation and management processes in organizations, linking it to informal and social learning processes, to the development and improvement of organizations; the study of dropout and retention of university students; the use of ICT in educational centers; and entrepreneurship in education studies.
