According to the Times Higher Education the Autonomous University of Barcelona is the best public university in teaching quality
The Europe Teaching Ranking that evaluates the teaching quality of european universities, rated the UAB as the 12th in Europe, improving 8 positions compared to the last edition.
The Autonomous University of Barcelona has reached the 12th position in the second edition of the European Teaching Ranking published by Times Higher Education. The ranking, which is one of the few that focuses exclusively on teaching, uses as indicators for the analysis: resources for teaching, commitment and interaction between students and the institution, the results generated by the university and the existence of an inclusive environment. The UAB stands out for the resources for teaching and the inclusive environment of the campus.
In the ranking, the UAB is in charge of the public universities of Spain, it is positioned ahead of the Autonomous University of Madrid (position 18), and of the University of Barcelona (position 29). The first of the State is the University of Navarra (private).
The analysis is also based on the results of the European Student Survey that examines many different aspects, such as students' commitment to their studies, interaction with teachers, the quality of university services and opportunities to develop skills. to help them prepare for their professional development after college.
