According to the El Mundo ranking, the UAB is the university with most degrees in the top 5 positions.
The UAB is one of the first universities in the ranking of the 50 most demanded degrees in Spain, prepared by the newspaper El Mundo. The Autonomous University of Barcelona stands out for being the one that places more grades in the top five positions. In total there are 24 (one more than last year): five in 1st position, seven in the 2nd, six in the 3rd, three in the 4th and three in the 5th position.
They emphasize especially Primary Education, Infantile Education and Social Education, the three in the second position of the ranking. These three are the degrees where the members of the EDO-UAB Group teach.
The El Mundo ranking is based on the analysis of fifty degrees taught in Spain, of all of them, the UAB imparts thirty-five. To make the analysis, they are based on 25 selection criteria: data on the demand of the universities themselves, the resources available, the curricula and results achieved, among others. It also takes into account the opinion of 2,000 teachers and other indicators such as international rankings or reports from the National Agency for the Evaluation of Quality and Accreditation (ANECA). Each of these indicators has the influence on the final result of each degree of 50%, 40% and 10% respectively.
