The project entitled “Mapping knowledge creation and management good practices in the framework of Catalan Public Administration” aims to analyze the situation of knowledge management in public administration with the goal of producing a map that allows managers and administrators to design joint strategies to integrate all the experiences and practices being carried out right now.
Moreover, it is considered the need to analyze the performance of the best practices identified in order to know the elements that guarantee its success and to elaborate concrete proposals for action to enable their improvement. Also it is considered to provide specific data of those management departments, areas or services that do not have knowledge management processes, allowing in future studies to analyze the reasons and propose strategies to facilitate the participation of professionals in these activities.
In conclusion, the project will provide evidence on the current situation of knowledge management of public administration in order to improve efficiency by creating an integrated system that facilitates the development of joint strategies, respecting the idiosyncrasy and the functioning of existing practices.
