We in EDO see ourselves as teachers and researchers interested in organisational development who share a common space in which individuals or groups can make proposals, plan activities and discuss processes and results. Our founding principles are as follows:
Collaboration. Members accept that working as a group has advantages and disadvantages, and believe that each individual project is best developed within a special interest group.
Autonomy. Members join special interest groups or groups conducting specific investigations, whether permanent or temporary. They may work independently, within the rights and obligations inherent in membership of EDO.
Cohesion. Individual members and groups agree to take part in general activities organised by EDO with the aim of promoting team spirit and synergies.
Solidarity. Individual members and groups share projects and ideas and support each other in regard to funding requests, resource management and the fulfilment of their commitments as members of EDO.
