EDURISC Team- RESEARCH GROUP ON PUBLIC POLITICS ANALYSIS LINKED TO GOBERNABILITY OF RISK IN THE FIELDS OF SCHOOLS AND EDUCATION

This research group works together with the Centre for Research on Risk Management, attached to the UAB, to carry out research projects on risk management in school and other educational contexts.

The first issues under study are the risks that are associated with activity in these contexts: on the one hand, those inherent in school infrastructures (emergency and evacuation plans, for example) and use of school facilities (canteens, school transport and mobility, laboratories, etc.), and on the other hand, those affecting the individuals who belong there (psycho-social risks for teaching staff, or bullying in the case of pupils, for example). The group is involved in risk evaluation, research, innovation and training.

The second area of research is that of strategies for including school risk management in the curriculum. The intention is also to design and experiment with pedagogical resources in this field and to develop an observatory on the topic.
