Ceremony for the Extraordinary Doctorate awards delivery

Aleix Barrera, from the EDO Group, has been awarded one of the prizes awarded by the UAB School of Doctorate and Alumni.

The Doctoral School held the semester act in which the extraordinary Doctorate awards are presented and doctoral and doctoral degrees are also delivered. In this sense, UAB is one of the leading Catalan universities in the production of theses and generates approximately one third of the Catalan theses that occur annually.

The Extraordinary Prizes give value to those theses that have received the qualification of Excellent Cum Laude, and which, according to the CAPD of each doctoral program, has stood out for their contribution and progress in the different fields on which the work is carried out. UAB

For his part, Aleix Barrera has been a member of the EDO, has been awarded his thesis entitled 'The transfer of learning acquired in Communities of Practice in Public Administration'. The objective of Barrera's dissertation thesis was to evaluate the variables that influence the process of transferring to the workplace the acquired learning through professional practice communities in the Public Administration.

They have been awarded, in the same Doctorate program and in the same edition, the Dr. Katia Veronica Pozos Pérez ('Evaluation of Training Needs on the Digital Competence of the University Teaching Staff for the Knowledge Society') and Dr. Adrià Pagès Mimó ('Evaluation of results of the sensitization and reduction program for a safe mobility as Alternative Criminal Measurement').
